Saturdays Feed My Soul

Three weeks into the college football season and chaos is already here. Six Top 25 teams have fallen to unranked opponents, preseason favourites are stumbling, and unexpected contenders are rising. From Miami’s resurgence and Clemson’s struggles to SEC shootouts and shocking upsets, Week 3 delivered a reminder: the playoff race is wide open.

If Week 0 served up some interesting starters for the college football season, Week 1 by comparison felt like a five-course tasting menu. It seemed as if college football fans, starved by months of inactivity, were suddenly tucking into a mouth-watering array of matchups.

While there were no upsets, the much anticipated first round of the College Football Playoff did not disappoint.
